school trip to Disneyland and I caught her and her friend planning their outfits, to make sure that their pictures would be coordinated and ready to share.<\/p>\n<p>So\u2026.enter mom with a quick sewing project that\u2019s practical and matches those Disney outfits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For this project you need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A lobster clip (that\u2019s what they call they fastener at the end of a lanyard.<\/p>\n<p>Several ribbons approximately 26 inches in length in Disney colors<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To make the lanyards more interesting, we decided to layer the ribbon that would form the neck strap and sew the two pieces together with a simple straight stitch.<\/li>\n<li>Then pull one end of the ribbon through the lobster clip, followed by the other end.\u00a0 Stitch in place.<\/li>\n<li>To make Mickey\u2019s bow tie to add to the bottom of the lanyard, cut two pieces of ribbon 26 inches in length.<\/li>\n<li>Bend the first ribbon, end to end to form a ribbon circle.\u00a0 Overlap the ends and use a dot of hot glue to hold it in place.<\/li>\n<li>Make a second circle over the first and glue.<\/li>\n<li>Then pinch the middle of the two ribbons to form a bow and hold in place with a little glue.<\/li>\n<li>I cut a small piece of ribbon to use as the center of the bow tie and wrapped it around the gathered center of the bows.<\/li>\n<li>Sew the bow tie onto the lanyard just above the lobster clip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lanyards are such an easy way to keep track of your ticket to any event.\u00a0 And now you can make a lanyard to match your outfit or your next event.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m already planning my lanyard for ComicCon
