But it&#8217;s cheap, and it&#8217;s a great canvas for all the other fun ribbons and tags.\u00a0 I also like white butcher paper for the same reason.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rule #2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Use hot glue instead of tape.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Now this &#8220;rule&#8221; sounds more like me.\u00a0 But it also guarantees the prettiest packages regardless of your style.\u00a0 Tape looks terrible on wrapping paper, and it doesn&#8217;t always hold very well (at least that&#8217;s what I told my mom when I peeked).\u00a0 But hot glue holds wrapping paper nice and tight.\u00a0 It also keeps ribbon from shifting and tags in place.\u00a0 Plus, it doesn&#8217;t show!\u00a0 You can also use double stick tape, but I always stick it places that I didn&#8217;t mean to!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1917\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/pretty-wrapping-PIN-1OPT.jpg\" alt=\"Cheeky Retro Christmas Wrapping Ideas and Wrapping Hacks | blowingawayoutwest.com -
