I used a striped cotton with metallic accents.\u00a0 You could also use plaid flannel, or any other Christmas fabric.<\/li>\n<li>Cricut Adhesive Vinyl in Green Glitter.<\/li>\n<li>Fabric stabilizer. I used iron-on interfacing to stabilize the burlap and to keep it from fraying, and a double-sided iron-on adhesive (sometimes called Wonder-Under or Wonder-Bond) to adhere the striped fabric to the burlap.<\/li>\n<li>Twine or ribbon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/freebie-library\/\">\u00a0The FREE project sheet and pattern is available in our Freebies Library.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/freebie-library\/freebies-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1056 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Freebies-Page-600x270.jpg\" alt=\"Get access to loads of free resources!\" width=\"600\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Freebies-Page-600x270.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Freebies-Page-768x346.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Freebies-Page-1024x461.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.blowingawayoutwest.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Freebies-Page.jpg 1400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>INSTRUCTIONS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut 3 each of the large banner piece in burlap. Cut 3 each of the large banner out of the interfacing.\u00a0 Iron the interfacing onto the burlap pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Cut 3 each of the small banner piece from your Christmas fabric. Cut 3 each of the small banner piece from your double-sided iron-on adhesive.\u00a0 Iron the adhesive onto the back of the Christmas fabric. Make sure you don\u2019t remove the paper backing or it will iron the pieces onto your ironing board!<\/li>\n<li>Remove the paper backing from your Christmas fabric and line it up on the burlap so that the burlap frames the Christmas fabric. Once satisfied with the placement, iron the Christmas Fabric pieces onto the burlap pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Use your Cricut to cut the word JOY out of your green glitter vinyl or you can cut the JOY by hand using the pattern included on the project sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere the letters to your Christmas fabric pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Using a pair of scissors, cut small holes in the top right and left corners of the banner pieces.
