We have one goal–to inspire you to strap on your tool-belt and do-it-yourself.

We’ve been doing this together for a long time–raising kids, adults, and homes. We’ve flipped a home, completely remodeled two homes, and we are digging into our third. We’ve been through it all–good home improvement projects, bad home projects, and ones that are (almost) too embarrassing to share.

But along the way we’ve learned a lot about what it means to call a house your home and how to make your home comfort you, protect you, and speak to you. Maybe what you do to the walls of your home matters less than what you do within the walls of your home, but the journey of fixing and improving your home can bring family together. It can also help you get through the tough times.

We’d like our projects inspire, make you laugh, or remind you of how fun it can be to create. We hope that our projects motivate you to dig in and do it yourself–no fear, just great drywall and dynamic back-splashes ahead.
