If you checked out my farmhouse bread box build, you know that I love to wax nostalgic about my grandmother’s kitchen. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who misses the baked goods and the jars of preserves that our grandmas baked with love in tiny little kitchens.  We’ve been blessed with innovations that allow us to chop salads without picking up a knife, and bake bread with the touch of a button.  Personally I wouldn’t want to go back to the days where toiling in the kitchen was hard work.  And I will forever love my slow cooker.
